No—LE Glitter Gels are for decoration only. They do not add strength and should always be applied over a properly structured enhancement (such as Lexy Line hard gel, JimmyGel, or acrylic).
Do keep in mind that Glitter Gels will add some thickness to the nail, so consider this when creating your structure.

For chunky glitters, you can apply a layer of ButterCream color gel underneath and then float a bead of the Glitter Gel down the nail as you would apply a builder gel.
