Why I Charge Even If You Don't Show Up - Nail Artist & Influencer, Celina Rydén Shares Her Experience

Celina Rydén, a skilled nail artist and influential figure in the nail industry, recently re-shared a crucial reminder that we believe is worth reposting and spreading further!

Celina shares, "This is a huge problem nail techs have to deal with today and it’s important that we talk about it. We need to make sure to raise awareness and to make people understand WHY you have to pay even if you don’t show up.

It’s not about being mean or scam anyone. Because you are not only paying for the actual work, you are paying for somebody’s time as well. So if you as a client want to use that time slot to get your nails done or do something else (not showing up), that is completely up to you.

With that said, there are of course a lot of different factors that can affect how we as nail techs decide to charge vs not charge, but I will leave that out for this post for now (illness, accidents, etc).

I know that this will most likely raise a lot of emotions going both ways so I just say this, please go ahead and start a discussion - we need that! - but remember to keep it on an adult level and be respectful towards each other." - @CelinaRydén
