Ring in the New Year with These Festive Nail Art Trends | Light Elegance

New Year's Eve is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with some festive nail art? Whether you're heading out to a party or just want to ring in the new year in style, here are a few nail art trends to try:

  1. Glitter ombre: Gradient nails are always a popular choice, and what better way to add some sparkle to your look than with a glitter ombre effect? Start with a darker shade at the base and gradually fade into a lighter shade, adding a generous amount of glitter to the tips for a show-stopping finish.

In this look, LE Educator, Rikel Fors (@nailsbyrikel) uses a base of Delicate Peach JimmyGel with an ombréd tip of Let's Limo ButterCream and Paparazzi Glitter Gel faded over top.

  2. Sequins and jewels: Add some bling to your nails with sparkly glitters or jewels. The new Glitter Gel, Sparkles or Sequins? is the perfect sequin-infused glitter with a stunning flash providing a seamless, yet glamorous look.

  3. Metallic accents: Metallics are always a chic choice for New Year's Eve, and there are many ways to incorporate them into your nail art. You can go for a full metallic manicure using one of LE's metallic-like shimmers, or just add accents using LE ButterBlings!

  4. New Year's Eve-themed designs: Get into the holiday spirit with some New Year's Eve-themed nail art. You could try creating a clock face on one nail to count down the minutes until midnight, or add some confetti, streamers or fireworks to your nails!

  5. Negative space: Negative space nail art is all about creating a design by leaving certain areas of the nail bare. You can create a variety of looks with this technique, from minimalist geometric shapes to more intricate designs.
