Relay Grey and Light Blue Sparkle Pretty Powder

Step-By-Step

  1. Cleanse, prep and apply Airbond, Tack or Powerbond depending on your client's nail type and cure for 2 minutes in UV light or for 30 seconds in LED light. Then, apply one coat of Pink 1-Step Lexy Line UV/LED Gel keeping it thin at the free edge and cuticle. Cure for 2 minutes in UV light or for 30 seconds in LED light.

  2. Apply 2 coats of Relay Grey color gel to each of the nails, curing each layer. Cure in between the layers for 2 minutes in UV light or for 30 seconds in LED light.

  3. Using a dry brush, dab Blue Sparkle Pretties into the inhibition layer of the index and pinky nails. Using the Liner 20/0 art brush and Pastel Blue gel paint, draw 3 thin lines of different lengths along one side of the thumb, middle and ring nails. Cure for 2 minutes in UV light or for 30 seconds in LED light.

  4. Using the Liner 20/0, apply a very small amount of Metallic Blue Poppy Paints along one side of the Pastel Blue lines, to create depth and shading. Apply a small amount of Gem Gel on the index and pinky nails, where the crystals will be placed, Do not cure. Using the crystal tool, pick up crystal and using the Shader 10/0 Art brush place a small dab of gem gel on the back of each crystal, as it is placed. Place crystals as shown in the picture

  5. Once each crystal is placed, using a light “dabbing” motion, apply a small amount of gem gel around each crystal, pulling a tiny bit just up onto the very edge of the crystal, creating a “Gel Prong” to secure the crystal to the nail. Be Very Careful Not to cover the crystal with gel, as it will lose its brilliance. Once they are perfectly positioned, cure for 2 minutes in UV light or for 30 seconds in LED light.

  6. Apply Super Shiny, cure for 2 minutes in UV light or for 1 minute in LED Light and cleanse the nails with LE Cleanser and Cleansing Wipes.
